It is nice to hear from you. ...Hello Asaf Shimoni,

It is nice to hear from you. Thank you for commenting and reaching out.

Since I first wrote this article, I have not found out anything else about Aurora. I had found GianFranco on Facebook and became Facebook friends with him, but I was too shy to ask him about his mother. Perhaps I shall make an attempt to talk with him and add more content to the article on Aurora. I will let you know if I do.

Thank you and best wishes to you,
GiovanniGiovanni Susinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03253382939348997303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2316228451187611813.post-82005306806567122072017-08-13T16:22:11.680-07:002017-08-13T16:22:11.680-07:00My gmail is 62shimoni.a at gmail.comMy gmail is 62shimoni.a at gmail.comאסףhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11884133188260375539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2316228451187611813.post-47167134822786041802017-08-13T16:21:00.260-07:002017-08-13T16:21:00.260-07:00Aurora was my grandfather's thrid wife. I got my information in bits and pieces in many different places online, and it took some time, but I’m proud to have it consolidated here, and I hope it will make a good basis to help out other scholars who would like to develop Aurora’s biography further. Every time I go on a hunt, I usually find a little piece of info, and so this work could still be a continuing work in progress, but then I’ll have to reword the intro and conclusion eventually as the facts become less and less obscure. It’s not always the Google search bar that gives the best results, since my main breakthrough came after publishing this article and sharing it on twitter with an Aurora de Alba hashtag, which I checked out and found a nice image, the one with her husband at the nightclub, and I contacted that user, who told me about his site, where I learned the specifics about her marriage, and that opened up new avenues of research, since apparently there’s a lot more online about her husband, Chico Scimone, (an interesting fellow).Giovanni Susinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03253382939348997303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2316228451187611813.post-69711581329025194622014-10-18T18:29:00.798-07:002014-10-18T18:29:00.798-07:00What a great investigative piece. Now that everyone obsesses over something - and anyone can have an audience via the internet - it's rare to find any person, place, or thing that hasn't garnered coverage somewhere. Good work pulling together all that you could find into one piece!

Also, thanks so much for being part of Pre'Ween this year! I believe you now hold the distinction of having produced the most legitimately journalistic of the Pre'Ween posts thus far. I can always count on you (and Barry at Cinematic Catharsis, as well) to teach me a little something with your posts.Brandon Earlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04428583919973903171noreply@blogger.com
